School fees are broken down as follows:

a) School Tuition Fees of 165,00€ or 185,00€ per month calculated according to the income (sum of all positive assets) per family. Up to 40,000€ - 165,00€; over 40,000€ -185,00€

*a limited number of subsidised places is available on a yearly basis upon application – 87,50€
*a sibling rebate is available to members of the Berlin Kids International e.Verein upon application

b) Required Hort Fees
-the contribution provided on behalf of the family by the state as shown through a Hort Beschied
-PLUS the family contribution as stated by the Hort Beschied

OR without the Hort Bescheid, - the total amount of 357,00€ per month must be paid by the family

c) Building Contribution
i)-a required 20,00€ fee to support the renovation and maintenance of the school building

Additional Costs

Learning Materials Fee
families are required to pay 100,00€ per school year for learning materials purchased
by the school for student use.

Parent work Fees
-families may also opt to pay 8€/hour instead of contributing work hours per month
-a single-parent family is obliged to contribute 3 hours per month or 8€ x 3 hours per month
-a two parent family is obliged to contribute 6 hours per month or 8€ x 6 hours per month

*please note that the parent work time or financial contribution is included in your school contract and it is a vital element of this parent initiative school

Optional Costs

Bus Service
-an external bus/shuttle service works privately with parents at a cost of 7,50€ per day.
-it may also be possible to book bus service for mornings or aftenoons only

Private Instrumental Music Lessons
-a parent-organized group monitors the relationship between Tomatenklang and families to provide on-site group instrumental lessons which take place after core lesson times
